Church of St. Lawrence
After visiting St. Martin of Tours, we were back on schedule to visit the next church: San Ildefonso. It was near lunch, the voyage was long, and we were passing churches that I was advised to visit. I kept doggedly at the Google Maps directions.
Finally, we passed a church that was large enough as not to ignore. It was another fortuitous moment, and another score for spontaneity. This was another church I had given up from visiting, because it was not on Google Maps. And funny, too, because it was St. Lawrence, the patron saint of cooks.
A short anecdote about him: he was the patron saint of cooking because he was roasted alive (go figure), and when he was dying he joked, "Turn me over; this side is done"

San Ildefonso Parish
It was a pretty short trip to San Ildefonso, because it was just nearby (as we were heading there, anyway).

San Ildefonso was the 4th church we visited.
At this point, there was discussion on whether to go directly to Barasoain and Immaculate Conception, but I reasoned that the road to Sta. Isabel was shorter and would conveniently go up to Immaculate Conception and Barasoain anyway. So we relied primarily on Google Maps, and my faith with it was shaky.
