It was probably in the early 2010s when we went to Siem Reap as part of an offer from our local airline (Cebu Pacific). There were two primary sites that we visited in Siem Reap: the Angkor Wat and the Tonle Sap Lake.
Angkor Wat is the largest temple complex in the world. It is the size of a (large) palace, and though showing its (ancient) age, it's still very much used.

There was a route ascending higher and higher, and the steps going up were actually small. Surprisingly enough, local worshippers nimbly went up and down the stairs.

There were several shrines within the temple complexes; tourists would pay reverence and go to brief worship there.

We took several pictures to show the scale of the temple complex; the scale was too large to get an estimation.

We took several more pictures, of the reliefs and the structures. Eventually we took a grand picture of the entrance as we were going out.
