The Independence Hall in Ho Chi Minh City was the former Presidential Palace of the South Vietnamese government. When the North Vietnamese entered the city, they renamed the place as Independence or Reunification Hall, to commemorate the unification of the Two Vietnams.
The interior of the Presidential palace shows the opulence and luxury of the times.
